Frog @ Silvera Bac

Frog @ Silvera Bac
Recently renovated, the well-known French showroom at 43 Rue du Bac hosts an exhibition space dedicated to the presentation of the Frog armchair, iconic seat designed in 1995 by Piero Lissoni.
Low, wide, generous and lively, Frog pays homage to the most fabled of animals: a frog next to a pond and ready to jump. Frog is shown in all its innumerable versions that have renewed its image over time whilst always remaining true to itself.
4 different models to highlight the numerous profiles and the casual look always different that made her famous.
In the presentation the natural glamour of the armchair woven with white PVC and structure in white painted steel is followed by the seductive character of the armchair woven with hide profile and structure in stainless steel with matt satin finishing, as well as by the innovative versions launched in 2015 for the anniversary of this famous armchair, including the sartorial version woven with 4 thread cellulose cord with a steel structure painted gunmetal colour, together with the futuristic version Carbon Frog with weave in black polyester and carbon structure.

On the lower level of the showroom, SILVERA BAC dedicates an ample space to Living Divani; in the living area some of the 2016 proposals alternate with bestsellers, introducing visitors to the world of formal purity and sophisticated elegance typical of the brand.

Among the new products, the elegant Rod sofa by Piero Lissoni presented this year in a modular version, Dumas sofa that, with its bourgeoisie inspiration, reproduces, in a renewed way, a form that in the memory is the ultimate comfort thanks to generous and liveable padded forms, the Sartor.C armchair, always signed by Piero Lissoni with "deconstructed" armrest and backrest and the Grek table by brothers Gabriele and Oscar Buratti with a strong industrial aesthetic. There are also the new Galileo of Mario Ferrarini, a round mirror with an elegant bronzed finishing and the new coat hanger Ceiba in solid ash by Luis Arrivillaga.
