Living Divani @ THE APARTMENT by Elle Decor Italia

Milan fashion district, in via Sant’Andrea 8, hosts, from From November 29th to December 2nd, The Apartment, the innovative formula with which Elle Decor Italia translates into a real place and lived an interior design concept linked to the domestic space. The project, born in 2018 in collaboration with Airbnb, is a real home open to the public, where to experience the new ways of contemporary living, and guess the personality of those who live it, animated by informal meetings on lifestyle and trends. This year an exclusive location was involved: the Atelier Daniela Gerini, a place rich in history linked to fashion where characters of the caliber of Maria Callas saw their costumes made, and which, since the end of the Nineties, became a creative laboratory of the innovative stylist and designer. The atelier with its scalloped ceilings, large windows and full-length mirrors has kept the luminous and glamorous imprint of a fascinating era, but it has been transformed by Daniela Gerini into a lively laboratory of ideas and research. Thanks to the projects of the architects Frederick de Wachter and Alberto Artesani of DWA Design Studio, the atelier exceptionally becomes "a creative think tank, a refuge from all distractions, where you can dedicate yourself to yourself and your work in the heart of the city". For the occasion, numerous furnishings have been chosen from the Living Divani collection that are able to characterize and inspire a modern concept of relaxation. The protagonist is the Agra daybed, covered in velvet in the colors of gray and green. To complete the scene, various accessories such as the new Vizio cupholder, by the Italian designer Leonardo Talarico, in addition to the essential Tonbo coat stand, furniture-sculpture able to customize any type of environment in the name of visual purity. Among the 2019 novelties, Light with a table stands out, a coffee table lamp with a dry and graphic silhouette, with a hint of retro reminiscence, the result of a skilful construction: a base to give balance, a metal tube that curves ending in a light source and a small table, connected to it through an insert, equipped with technology for wireless charging.
