Living Divani @ "Leave DeSign"

Living Divani participates at the "Leave DeSign" charity auction organized by RFK Human Rights Italia. Carried out by Christie's and achieved thanks to the support of the magazine Interni, media partner of the event, this edition returns to Milan at Palazzo Clerici and will be entirely dedicated to design. More than 30 Made in Italy design excellences have donated historical pieces, prototypes and one [1] off in order to raise funds to finance the association's programs in the field of human and civil rights, such as Human Rights Education in Italian schools which, thanks to the introduction of compulsory Civic Education in every school of order and grade, has allowed its widespread diffusion throughout the country. The works will be exhibited at Christie's in via Clerici 5 in Milan, from September 28th to 30th from 10 am to 7pm throughout the preview of the lots, and will then be auctioned on November 19th in the presence of Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy seventh daughter and president of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights association, during the RFK Human Rights Italia Gala & Award 2021. Living Divani, for the occasion, has decided to donate the artist's proof of the Chaise Longue 01, belonging to The Uncollected Collection, the limited edition collection designed by Piero Lissoni to celebrate and seal the double anniversary: 50 years since the birth of Living Divani and 30 years of collaboration of the architect as Art Director. This work, between art and design, creatively plays on the concept of "weight", going beyond the classic combination of shape and function. Characterized by full and sinuous volumes in cast aluminum, it represents a spectacular furniture with a fantastic flavor that tells a single idea: the brand craftmanship and its incredible ability to translate the design complexity into silhouettes that are contemporary and impeccable but apparently simple, proving that there is no need to shout louder than everyone else to be heard, noticed and recognised as one of the Italian reality of excellences on the international scene.
