Living Divani @ Teatro degli Arcimboldi
Vietato l’ingresso is a initiative that involves seventeen design studios which propose their project of dressing room for the TAM Teatro Arcimboldi Milan. The theater opens its doors to the public to admire the designers’ dressing rooms of the TAM. Visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the new worlds created by the studios, and to admire the high quality of the proposals, the styles and design solutions adopted. The project is transformed into a unique and sensorial exploratory game that invites the public to become not only a spectator, but a protagonist. In fact, the public could vote and express their preferences: the winning studio will be given the task of renovating the "Camerino Muti", the main dressing room of the theater.
Francesco Rota revisits the concept of the theater dressing room, proposing for the spaces of the Teatro degli Arcimboldi, an enveloping and refined environment with a look that, through iconic elements and lines, is at the same time future-oriented. The new dressing room is no longer just a functional space but becomes a place of decompression, reserved and intimate where to relax and concentrate; a tactile, visual and sensorial experience in which the various compositional elements are harmoniously integrated. The dressing room is therefore this refuge - an inner journey, which can show itself to the theater and connect with the artist during the preparative phase before the performance. To furnish this space the architect chose the Hinge stool developed in collaboration with Living Divani, characterized by measured elegance and unique comfort.
