Sumo @ Adi Design Index 2022

The products chosen for the new ADI Design Index are presented respectively in Milan, @ Adi Design Museum, and in Rome, @ Istituto Treccani. Through an exclusive exhibition, the public can appreciate the 2022 selection of the best Italian design, including the Sumo sofa, designed in 2021 by Piero Lissoni, and awarded for the "Design for Living" category. The linear variant of Sumo features a wooden platform, a perfectly horizontal sign, as well as offering the possibility of adding a headrest mechanism adjustable to various positions to interpret new attitudes and rituals of bodies and minds. This product takes its first step towards the Compasso d'Oro Award.
