Living Divani @ La casa dell'architetto
During the week of the Salone del Mobile, from April 16th to 21st , Milan's historic Galleria d'Arte Moderna hosted 'La Casa dell'architetto', a site-specific installation by Marie Claire Maison curated by architect Francesco Rota, who recreates the perfect world of living inside one of the city's most beautiful historic buildings, showing the international audience of Design Week and the citizens of Milan the elegance of contemporary design.
The aim of the exhibition is to recreate a residential space inside the GAM: here, among the rooms that date back to the end of the 18th century, Francesco Rota has imagined the setting up of a series of personal rooms, created to illustrate his vision of living, giving shape to the all-Italian sensitivity towards spaces, materials and details, representing the best of Made in Italy production.
The furnishings chosen for the installation also include some products from the Living Divani collection signed by the architect, such as the Hinge stool and coffee table, with their comfort and measured elegance.
